At the end of the course "nursing physical disabilities", the student will be able to know the epidemiology of the main disabling pathologies of the locomotor and osteoarticular apparatus, understanding and recognizing the biological, social, demographic, environmental and cultural factors that can generate the disability and affect the overall health status. The student will also be able to know the basic rules of the person overall assessment in order to formulate the care plan to be implemented in the services network for people with physical disabilities. At the end of the module, the student will acquire knowledges about taking care, managing, and continuing assistance in disability situations. The exam will be held jointly for all the modules in the form of an on-going test at the end of the course, followed by an oral examination at the first available date. The final vote, out of thirty, will be expressed by the members of the joint commission.

To demonstrate the correct theoretical apprehending of diagnostic evaluation, main therapeutic procedures and postoperative management of the patient affected with diseases covered during lessons in both Vascular and General Surgery. The course of General Surgery is aimed at giving to the students the basic notions on the most important and common surgical pathologies. At the end of the course, the student will be able to correctly identify the main aspects of the surgical patient, understand the indications to surgical treatment and will know the principal surgical techniques, including their complications and long-term outcomes. These knowledges and competences are required to the student for a correct and critical approach to the surgical patient in the pre, intra and post-operative period.
