Students will choose a way to present what they have learned from options provided and then use their understandings to design a biomimicry product based on a human problem.

Graphic organizers, note-taking sheets, questions and grading rubrics are all included to take students through the steps to meet the following Next Generation Science Standards: 1-LS Read texts and use media to determine patterns in behavior of parents and offspring that help offspring survive.
Ask questions, make observations, and gather information about a situation people want to change to define a simple problem that can be solved through the development of a new or improved object or tool. Develop a simple sketch, drawing, or physical model to illustrate how the shape of an object helps it function as needed to solve a given problem.
