It was a quick in and out self test drive as he looked up the actual specs of the vehicle. The title of the vehicle online said AWD as did the specs on the vehicle's paper in the dashboard, but the actual vehicle specs were FWD only as the further information showed online as well. I needed AWD so it was kind of a wasted trip. Great, easy experience purchasing a car for my teen. Ended up with a different Corolla then we originally intended and very happy with that car. Definitely recommend this Dealership!

It's not uncommon these days for automobile manufacturers to tell us that they've worked hard at making their cars both rationally and emotionally appealing. Makes sense, because most of today's automobiles are so competent that they need a little something extra to pull at our heartstrings. With Acura's TSX — a new sports sedan based on the European-market Honda Accord platform — that "something extra" is fantastic suspension tuning that makes you seek out great roads purely for the thrill of driving.
At the same time, this compact sedan remains an Acura, slotting neatly in size between the RSX and the TL and fitted with leather seats, an excellent sound system, a beautiful interior and technologies that include yaw control, a drive-by-wire throttle, side-curtain airbags and an optional voice-operated navigation system.
Accord — is your ally on twisty roads. Double-A-arm front suspension teams with a multilink rear end and firm springing to create a car that's agile and entertaining while still being comfortable enough for everyday use. Helping solidify the front structure of the TSX's stiff unit-body is a standard brace connecting the shock towers to each other and to the firewall.
The engine is a twincam 2. There's no noticeable VTEC power spike in the TSX's powerband, just an ever-increasing rush of power lasting all the way to the rpm redline. Contributing to the overall smoothness and sophistication of this "NP2" powerplant are a counterrotating balance shaft and six engine mounts.
What's more, torque steer never rears its head, even though there's plenty of power on tap for relaxed around-town cruising. Of interest, the case of the 6-speed manual is made of magnesium to save weight, and the action of the cable shifter is first-rate, with short throws.
Inside, there's slightly less room than in the U. Accord, but the TSX accommodates drivers as tall as 6 ft. The driving position is excellent, and the heated leather seats offer excellent lateral support.
Although the TSX is fitted with Acura's VSA stability control, it intervenes only when the car is really out of shape, and can be turned off via a switch on the dash. With it on or off, the steering remains precise, with the right amount of assist and no kickback through the leather-covered steering wheel, which tilts and telescopes.
If you're looking for a roomy midsize sedan, buy an Accord. If, however, you're looking for a car that's far sportier and less common — and perhaps more important, you didn't grow up equating high performance with rear-wheel drive — then the lb. TSX may be right for you. Its styling may be a bit too generic Acura for some tastes, but the creases and overall proportions give it an almost European look.
What's more, when you shut the doors, you can tell by the sound that it's a well-built car. One that also boasts a drag coefficient of 0. Sure, those are some rational reasons to consider a TSX, but all it takes is one short drive in this fun new sedan for the emotional hook to be set.

2004 Acura TSX - Owner's Manual (364 pages)
Referring to the Ferrari GT California he "borrowed" from his best friend's father, the somehow sagacious and always rash Ferris Bueller eloquently proclaimed in the flick, "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. Trying to apply that drooling dialogue to anything but a sexy exotic becomes a stretch. In the Acura lineup, the only candidate for this sort of lust is the NSX sports car. Not that all premium Hondas aren't "choice" automobiles-it's just that none but the NSX delivers the prestige and performance comparable to a Ferrari's. But today, when so many cars are well beyond good trust us-narrowing down a 10Best ballot is painful , the term "choice" seems appropriate not just for exotics but also for those select cars that deliver something special, something intangible.
